DORTMUND, Germany (AP) -- Borussia Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp has been fined €6,000 ($7,700) by the German Football Federation (DFB) for unsporting behavior toward a referee's assistant during a Bundesliga game.

The DFB says it is imposing the fine after Klopp "ran up to fourth official Guido Kleve and yelled at him'' in injury time of Dortmund's dramatic 3-3 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sept. 25.

Klopp was sent to the stands at the time and he accepted the fine.

Klopp previously said that the threatening grimace he made at the fourth official was "how I look when I'm playing tennis or when we score a goal. But when you have to excuse yourself for a face, then I hereby do that.''
