SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) -- Willian Jose scored in the eighth and 18th minutes to lead Sao Paulo to a 2-0 victory over Universidad de Chile on Wednesday in a first-leg quarterfinal match of the Copa Sudamericana.

Universidad de Chile went down to 10 men in the 25th minute when Eugenio Mena was shown a red card.

The other quarterfinal matchups are: Independiente vs. Universidad Catolica, Cerro Porteno vs. Tigre, Millonarios vs. Gremio.
