BASEL, Switzerland (AP) -Teenage Switzerland international Granit Xhaka says he wants to join Borussia Moenchengladbach in the offseason from FC Basel.

Xhaka tells the Basler Zeitung daily: "For me, everything is decided. Now, it's the two clubs who must reach an agreement.''

The 19-year-old Xhaka would likely cost Moenchengladbach millions as his Basel contract runs for three more seasons.

Xhaka impressed in Basel's run to the last 16 of the Champions League this season alongside Swiss teammate Xherdan Shaqiri, who is joining Bayern Munich.

Moenchengladbach is fourth in the Bundesliga, a spot that would earn a place in the Champions League playoff round in August.

Before then, the Kosovo-born Xhaka should figure in Switzerland's squad at the London Olympics.
