MILAN (AP) -Defending champion Juventus stretched its Serie A unbeaten streak to 46 games with a 2-1 victory at Siena on Sunday.

Claudio Marchisio scored what proved to be the winner for the league leader six minutes from time.

Andrea Pirlo gave Juventus the lead with a trademark free-kick in the 13th minute but Emanuele Calaio leveled in first-half stoppage time, with Juventus looking lethargic.

Pirlo also hit the crossbar with another free kick.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte was given a rousing reception by the Siena fans as he took his seat in the stands. Conte led Siena to promotion in 2011 before quitting to take over Juventus.

Conte saw his 10-month ban for match-fixing violations during his time at Siena reduced to four months on appeal this week.
