LISBON, Portugal (AP) -FC Porto beat struggling 10-man Sporting Lisbon 2-0 on Sunday, with goals by Colombian duo Jackson Martinez and James Rodriguez keeping the titleholders level with Portuguese leader Benfica.

Martinez opened the scoring 10 minutes in from a pass by Danilo.

After Porto's Lucho Gonzalez missed a penalty, Marcos Rojo left Sporting with 10 men from the 72nd when he received his second booking.

Rodriguez capped the win in the 84th with a spot kick after Sporting defender Khalid Boulahrouz fouled Martinez in the area.

Sporting, which has just one win in six rounds this season, fired coach Ricardo Sa Pinto on Friday.
