CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb falls ill on plane

LONDON (AP) -Organizers of a London conference say CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb is unwell and has been taken to a London hospital.

Leaders in Football host David Davies told the opening session on Wednesday that the 48-year-old Webb fell ill on a flight to London to attend the event.

Further details of Webb's condition were not immediately available.

The Cayman Islands native succeeded Jack Warner in May as president of football's governing body for North and Central America and the Caribbean.

Warner quit in 2011 in the middle of a corruption investigation.
