GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -Celtic scored late goals to beat Aberdeen 2-0 on Saturday and jump to the top of the Scottish Premier League.

Lassad Nouioui opened the scoring when he stroked the ball into an empty net in the 73rd minute, having come on for Kris Commons four minutes earlier.

Charlie Mulgrew added a second against his former club three minutes later, acrobatically volleying home at the back post after meeting Georgios Samaras' cross.

Celtic rose above Hibernian, which lost 3-1 at Dundee to fall a point behind the champions having played an extra game.
