ISTANBUL (AP) -Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says the return of Japan playmaker Shinji Kagawa from a knee injury "may be another four weeks away.''

Kagawa hurt his left knee in Man United's Champions League win over Braga on Oct. 23 and hasn't played since.

He had only been expected to miss a month of football, but Ferguson said Monday that his "progress has been quite slow'' and "he hasn't started any outside work'' yet.

Kagawa has already missed six matches for United ahead of Tuesday's Champions League game against Galatasaray in Turkey plus Japan's World Cup qualifying win in Oman.
