PSV takes Dutch league lead by beating Twente 3-0
THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) -PSV Eindhoven moved top of the Dutch league by beating FC Twente 3-0 to round off a weekend in which all 33,000 amateur matches in the country were called off because of the death of a linesman attacked by players after a youth match a week ago.
Georginio Wijnaldum gave PSV the lead in the 38th minute Sunday when he turned in a cross from the right by Luciano Narsingh.
Tim Matavz, who scored a hat trick against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday, added the second for PSV in the 80th and Narsingh made it 3-0 two minutes later.
PSV began Sunday in third place, just one point behind leaders Twente and Vitesse Arnhem.
Arnhem also lost, going down 3-1 at VVV-Venlo.
