Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison joined the Hot Clicks Podcast on Wednesday to talk about his team's fire sale, his future in Miami, Ozzie Guillen's tenure and more. Below are some highlights from his appearance. You can listen to the full podcast here.

On how he heard about the trade that sent Jose Reyes, Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, John Buck and Emilio Bonifacio to Toronto:

"I got a text that said 'What's going on right now?' and it was from Greg Dobbs on the [text messaging] thread. The next thing I know [Josh Johnson] gets on the thread too and J.J. texts "We gone!"

On his reaction to the trade:

"I was definitely disappointed when I heard at first. They're great guys all of them, great teammates and good baseball players. It's gonna be hard trying to replace those guys, but it's part of the business. But you can't control it, so why get mad about it?"

On teammate Giancarlo Stanton's tweet that he was "pissed off":

"I can see where Mike's mad. I can see how guys are mad who are still there. But like I said, once you realize you can't do anything about it, you just have to go out and play. . It's not your job to find the best players to put on the field or to worry about numbers as far as dollars go. Our job is to play hard and do the best we can."

On Marlins fans being mad:

"The Marlins fans have every right to be mad and should be mad. They were told one thing and that didn't quite work out. I feel for them."

On trade rumors about himself:

"I don't pay attention to it. I've think I've been rumored every offseason to be traded. Like I said, you can't control it, so why worry about it? Whether it's my teammates, whether it's me, it doesn't matter, it doesn't change my job description, it doesn't change what I have to do this offseason to get ready. "

JAFFE: If Marlins keep dealing, here's who could go next

On whether he wants to be traded:

"No. I like Miami. I think it's always exciting or interesting when you first hear about rumors. But I just think Miami is a good fit for me and I like the people there and the fans and the new stadium. That stuff appeals to me."

On Ozzie Guillen:

"Me and Ozzie got along well. It wasn't his fault the reason he got let go. I think that it was basically our fault. The players didn't play well, or at least we didn't play well enough to win enough games. We had a lot of injuries this year, but you can't do anything about it now."
