NEW YORK (AP) - Left-hander Boone Logan and the New York Yankees have agreed to a $3.15 million, one-year contract, a raise of $1.25 million.

His agreement Friday on the non-guaranteed deal avoided salary arbitration.

The 27-year-old reliever was 7-2 with a 3.74 ERA and one save in 80 games, tied for the major league lead. He can become a free agent after this season.

New York's projected payroll is at $202.7 million for 17 signed players, including $8.5 million the Yankees owe Pittsburgh as part of last year's trade that sent A.J. Burnett to the Pirates.

One New York player remains in arbitration, with reliever David Robertson asking for a raise from $1,625,000 to $3.55 million and the Yankees offering $2.85 million.
