INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Butler's top scorer Rotnei Clarke has returned to Indianapolis with his teammates after crashing into the basket support during Saturday's game at Dayton.

Clarke says he initially lost feeling below his neck and his body began tingling. He was taken off the court on a stretcher to a nearby hospital, where he was diagnosed with a sprained neck.

Despite losing Clarke, the 14th-ranked Bulldogs wound up beating the Flyers 79-73 -- their 11th consecutive win.

Team trainer Ryan Galloy says Clarke is expected to undergo an MRI later Saturday, and afterward the Bulldogs (14-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10) will have a better idea of when Clarke may return to action.

Clarke is third in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 16. 2 points per game. Butler hosts Richmond on Wednesday.
