IRVINE, Calif. (AP) - Police say they've identified a suspect in the shooting deaths of a Cal State Fullerton basketball coach and her fiance, who was a campus officer at the University of Southern California.

City News Service reports Irvine Police Chief David L. Maggard will give details later Wednesday on the suspect and the investigation of the killings of 28-year-old Monica Quan and 27-year-old Keith Lawrence.

Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino said earlier in the day that an autopsy showed both were killed by multiple gunshots.

The couple was found dead in their car in a parking structure at their Irvine condominium.

The killings brought mourning and disbelief at three college campuses.

Quan was an assistant women's basketball coach at Fullerton, and Lawrence was a USC campus safety officer. The two met when both played basketball at Concordia University.
