LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - The three schools from Kansas playing in the NCAA tournament all have something in common: In an era of freshman phenoms and one-and-done superstars, they're led by a bunch of seniors.

Kansas earned the top seed in the South Region behind the play of Jeff Withey, Travis Releford, Elijah Johnson and Kevin Young - four senior starters, a rarity for a marquee program.

Kansas State received the fourth seed in the West Region, thanks to leading scorer Rodney McGruder and fellow seniors Martavious Irving and Jordan Henriquez.

Then there's Wichita State, the ninth seed out West. The Shockers are led by seniors carl Hall, Malcolm Armstead and Demetric Williams.
