Quentin Tarantino, during an interview on NPR's Fresh Air, claimed his mom dated Wilt Chamberlain in the 1970s and was "one of the thousand" women Chamberlain bedded. Of course, Tarantino shortchanged Wilt the Stilt, who famously claims to have slept 20,000 women.

Peterson, by the way, vows not to just break Eric Dickerson's record of 2,105 yards, he intends to rush for 2,500 yards next season ... Von Miller posted some great Facebook trash talk to Joe Flacco, but then it came out that the post was a fake ... Speaking of trash talk, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, who gave Tom Brady an earful earlier this season, was shoved in the face by Redskins offensive lineman Trent Williams following Sunday's game ... Dr. James Andrews fearedof Mike Shanahan's decision to play Robert Griffin III ... Most importantly, Alf made an appearance at the Redskins-Seahawks game.
The NHL lockout appears to be finally been resolved but the long-term effects remain to be seen. Alex Picard, who plays for the HC Lev Praha of the KHL and played for the Penguins last season, had perhaps the greatest tweet in the history of tweets while saying goodbye to teammate Yannick Weber.
