The Baseball Writers' Association of America sent a message to known and alleged steroids users by electing no one to the Hall of Fame. However, legendary pitcher Aaron Sele did manage to get one vote. This was big news on Twitter, where Sele was trending for a better part of the afternoon. Here is a sampling of tweets. I touched on the Brent Musburger-Katherine Webb saga in today's A.M. Hot Clicks. While some people are up in arms about the whole thing, others are having fun, such as Spirit Airlines, which is using some creative advertising. Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain, who is already responsible for one of the great athlete-arrest photos of all time, has once again had some trouble with the law. This time, McClain was given a citation for having tinted windows, which he didn't appreciate. In fact, he was so unhappy with the citation that instead of signing his name, he instead wrote a two-word message for the cops, which included the f-bomb and y'all.

Fitness model Holly Bricken gets today's LLOD honors. We've seen tennis players hit between-the-legs shots before, but Frenchman Benoit Paire pulled off one while moving laterally and hopping in the air. Hot Clicks has featured Shane Battier singing a few times before. However, THIS is Shane Battier singing the theme to the Love Boat, and it's awesome. Since I was on vacation, I haven't had a chance to update you on the Hot Clicks NFL Pick 'Em Pool. In a hotly contested contest, "Lucky Beats Good" (153-103) pulled a one-game win over "CharlieChan" (152-104). Lucky Beats Good is actually Avi, of Keningston, Md., and he is now the owner of a 60-inch TV provided by Toshiba. Thanks to all of you who played, thanks to Toshiba for providing the TV, and congrats to Avi. This gets an A+ for creativity.
