INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana has hired William Inge as its new co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

He replaces Mike Ekeler, who took a job coaching linebackers at Southern California two weeks ago. Indiana assistant head coach Doug Mallory will be the defensive coordinator and continue to coach safety for head coach Kevin Wilson.

Inge spent last season as the Buffalo Bills assistant defensive coach and the two previous seasons as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at the University of Buffalo. He also has coached at the University of Cincinnati and San Diego State and was one of the fellows in the NFL's Bill Walsh minority coaching program in the summer of 2011.

The hiring of Inge means the Hoosiers have filled all of their coaching positions.
