Southern overwhelms Clark Atlanta 53-0

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Lenard Tillery ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns and Kylum Favorite 108 yards and three scores as Southern overwhelmed Clark Atlanta 53-0 on Saturday night.

Johnathan Mack intercepted a Panthers pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown early in the first quarter and the Jaguars never looked back.

Southern (7-4) rolled up 318 yards rushing. Dray Joseph only attempted 12 passes, completing nine, including a 44-yard touchdown pass to Lee Doss. The Jaguars finished with 423 yards total offense.

Darrius Coleman scored the fifth of the six rushing touchdowns on the night for Southern.

The Division III Panthers (3-7) only managed 91 yards offense, including 8 on their only pass completion. They only had two first downs.
