More Chocolate wins La Canada at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - More Chocolate won the $150,000 La Canada Stakes for 4-year-old fillies by 1 3/4 lengths on Sunday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Garrett Gomez, More Chocolate ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.59 and paid $12.60, $5.40 and $4.

Book Review returned $3.20 and $2.40, while Willa B Awesome was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $4.20 to show. Lady of Fifty, the 6-5 favorite, finished fourth.

The victory, worth $90,000, increased More Chocolate's career earnings to $182,790, with three wins in eight starts.
