Causeithertz wins Santa Anita feature

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Causeithertz won the $60,000 Truckee River Purse by 2 1/2 lengths on Thursday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Causeithertz ran one mile on the turf in 1:34.85 and paid $5.80, $3.40 and $2.20 as the 9-5 favorite for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert. It was the third win on the card for Bejarano and Baffert's second.

Gab Power returned $4.40 and $3, while Innocent Man was another neck back in third and paid $3.80 to show.

The victory, worth $36,000, increased Causeithertz's career earnings to $189,150, with three wins in 16 starts.
