ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Magic Moment rallied from last to win the $58,000 feature for older horses by a half-length at Santa Anita on Friday.

Ridden by Victor Espinoza, Magic Moment ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.86 and paid $10.80, $6.20 and $4.

It was an eventful trip as Magic Moment stumbled leaving the starting gate, got squeezed and then clipped heels with another horse. Magic Moment went three-wide in the stretch and ran down Batti Man inside the sixteenth pole.

Batti Man returned $6.60 and $3.60, while Call Me Kelly was another 3 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $5.20 to show. Mr T Bird, the 9-5, favorite, wound up fourth.

The victory, worth $34,800, increased Magic Moment's career earnings to $73,340, with two wins in eight starts.
