Blueskiesnrainbows wins Santa Anita feature

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Blueskiesnrainbows won the $60,000 feature for older horses by 3 3/4 lengths Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Blueskiesnrainbows ran a mile in 1:36.28 and paid $3.40, $2.20 and $2.10 as the 3-5 favorite.

Phantom Lover returned $3.20 and $2.40, while Royal F J was another 5 1/4 lengths back in third and paid $3 to show.

"On the first turn I waited to see what the horses on the rail were going to do before I decided where to go,'' Bejarano said. "But then when they didn't go, I made it to the lead easy. I was a bit wide on the first turn but then when I made the lead so easily, I was good from there.''
