NEW YORK (AP) - Readtheprospectus posted a fifth straight win, beating Aussi Austin by two lengths Friday in the $69,000 allowance feature in the slop at Aqueduct.

A 4-year-old gelding trained by Chad Brown, Readtheprospectus started the streak in late October at Belmont Park and continued through the winter at Aqueduct. Junior Alvarado was aboard, the first of his three consecutive wins on the card. The time was 1:51.75 for 1 1/8 miles.

Readtheprospectus paid $10.40, $5.80 and $3.30 as the 4-1 second choice. Aussi Austin, the longest shot in the field at 20-1, returned $13.60 and $5.90, and Keep Me Informed paid $4 to show.

Windsurfer, a dominant winner of his prior race in the slop at Gulfstream Park, ran fifth as the 2-5 favorite.
