Micromanage, Immortal Eyes win Monmouth features

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) - Micromanage overtook Forever Thing in the stretch and drew off to win by 4 1/2 lengths in the $100,000 Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth Park on Sunday.

Trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Joe Bravo, who won three races on the day, the 3-year-old colt returned $6, $4.40 and $2.60. Forever Thing paid $7.60 and $6.20, while Carve was 3 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $3.60.

Earlier on the card, Immortal Eyes took the lead early on and coasted to an easy win in the $75,000 Mr. Prospector Stakes, beating Mass Destruction by 7 1/4 lengths.

Trained by Damon Dilodovico and ridden by Paco Lopez, who won four races on the day, the 8-year-old gelding returned $7.60, $4.20 and $3.
