Dayatthespa wins at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Heavily favored Dayatthespa took control leaving the stretch turn and won the $150,000 Yaddo Stakes for fillies and mares bred in New York by 1 3/4 lengths Friday at Saratoga Race Course.

Javier Castellano rode the Chad Brown-trained 4-year-old, who ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.57 and earned $90,000 for a group of owners headed by Bradley Thoroughbreds.

Dayatthespa paid $2.50, $2.20 and $2.10. Runner-up Wholelotashakin paid $6.20 and $4.30. Inimitable Romance, third of six, returned $3.10 to show.
