Jockey Alvarado wins 4 at Belmont

NEW YORK (AP) - Jockey Junior Alvarado got his fourth win on the card when Vegas No Show edged Midnight Taboo by a head Wednesday in the $100,000 Coastal Stakes for 3-year-olds at Belmont Park.

And it came on a 14-1 shot, the longest price in field.

After splitting rivals in midstretch, Vegas No Show rallied for his fourth win in 14 starts. The colt trained by Kelly Breen ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.77.

Vegas No Show paid $29, $10.40 and $5.70. Midnight Taboo returned $4.50 and $3.10, and Saint Vigeur paid $3 to show.
