Spurs beats Reading 3-1 in EPL

LONDON (AP) -Tottenham conceded a quickfire goal to Reading and still won easily 3-1 to rise to provisional third in the English Premier League on Tuesday.

Pavel Pogrebnyak scored in the fourth minute for the visiting side, boosting Reading's hope of a first away win of the season.

But Michael Dawson levelled five minutes later.

Emmanuel Adebayor scored the winner in the 51st, and Clint Dempsey made it 3-1 with about 10 minutes to go.
