MARSEILLE, France (AP) -Queens Park Rangers is signing Marseille striker Loic Remy and midfielder Yann M'Vila is also set to join from Rennes to help the Premier League club's struggle against relegation.

The 26-year-old Remy was poised to join Newcastle at the weekend, but QPR manager Harry Redknapp says he had a medical examination and agreed personal terms with the west London club on Wednesday.

Redknapp says "it's all done, all sorted ... he has the potential to be a real star in the Premier League.''

Redknapp also hopes M'Vila will have signed in time for bottom-place QPR's match at West Ham on Saturday.

Redknapp says "M'Vila's had a few off-the-field problems. If he behaves himself, and plays as we know he can, he'll do well.''
