Llorente to join Juventus at end of season

TURIN, Italy (AP) -Juventus has signed Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente to a four-year contract that will start at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old Llorente will join Juventus in June when his contract expires with Bilbao.

Llorente has scored 104 goals in 334 appearances for Bilbao, but has been at odds with the Basque club since last offseason when he refused to extend his contract.

Llorente has played 21 times for Spain and was a member of its world and European champion squads.
