ISTANBUL (AP) -Galatasaray says it has reached a deal to sign former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, a second major coup for the Turkish club after Wesley Sneijder joined from Inter Milan last week.

Galatasaray said on its website Monday that Drogba had agreed to an 18-month deal. Drogba has spent this season in China with Shanghai Shenhua, but is currently with Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
