Person familiar with situation: Beckham off to PSG

LONDON (AP) -A person familiar with the situation says David Beckham will join Paris Saint-Germain.

The person says the former England captain is to have a medical examination on Thursday in the French capital. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not yet been completed.

The 37-year-old Beckham, a former Manchester United star, has been mulling offers from clubs around the world after leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy in December to end a six-year stint in Major League Soccer.
