Roma loses 4-2 to Cagliari; Zeman's job at risk

ROME (AP) -Coach Zdenek Zeman's job was in jeopardy after Roma lost 4-2 at home to Cagliari on Friday in Serie A.

The Giallorossi haven't won in the league in 2013, losing three and drawing two.

Roma was already whistled at by its fans during the pre-match warmup and the situation only got worse when Radja Nainggolan put Cagliari ahead three minutes in.

Roma's 36-year-old captain Francesco Totti equalized with a free kick in the 35th, but Roma goalkeeper Mauro Goicoechea scored an own goal in the 47th, Marco Sau added a header for Cagliari in the 53rd and Francesco Pisano made it 4-1 in the 71st.

Marquinhos pulled one back for Roma in added time but Roma was still whistled off the pitch.

Roma is eighth, 15 points behind Juventus.
