Mandzukic scores again as Bayern wins 3-0 at Mainz

BERLIN (AP) -Mario Mandzukic scored twice as Bayern Munich beat Mainz 3-0 to provisionally stretch its Bundesliga lead on Saturday.

Thomas Mueller opened the scoring with the visitors' first real chance four minutes before the break.

Mandzukic made it 2-0 in the 50th minute before claiming his league-leading 14th of the season seven minutes later.

Leverkusen hosts third-placed Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.

Bottom side Greuther Fuerth scored in injury time to snatch a 2-1 at Schalke, after winter signing Milan Bastos scored on his debut for the home side.

Wolfsburg drew 1-1 with Augsburg, Hoffenheim beat visiting Freiburg 2-1 and Stuttgart lost 3-1 at Fortuna Duesseldorf.

Fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt was visiting Hamburg later Saturday.
