PARIS (AP) - David Beckham has hinted he could remain at Paris Saint-Germain once his short-term contract ends in June.

The 37-year-old midfielder has made a good start at PSG, helping to set up a goal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in last Sunday's 2-0 win against Marseille in the league and putting in a solid 86-minute performance in the 2-0 win against Marseille in the French Cup on Wednesday.

The former England captain and Los Angeles Galaxy star showed he has lost none of his passing range and, although he tired in the second half on Wednesday, his combative streak was well received by a boisterous home crowd.

In a television interview late Thursday, Beckham was asked if his contract does not go beyond June and he replied: "Not yet it doesn't.''
