LONDON (AP) -Manchester United's charge to the Premier League title was slightly delayed Wednesday after being forced to twice come from behind to draw 2-2 at West Ham.

With second-place Manchester City beating Wigan 1-0, United's advantage over its neighbor was reduced to 13 points with five games to go for the leaders.

Antonio Valencia scored his first goal in a year to first pull United level by canceling out Ricardo Vaz Te's opener.

After Mohamed Diame had put West Ham in front at the start of the second half with a curled drive into the far corner, Van Persie responded with his first goal from open play in two months.

It was United's second setback in three league matches, with the victory Sunday over Stoke preceded by a loss to City.
