LONDON (AP) -Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will take their increasingly acrimonious rivalry to a new level Saturday in the first all-German Champions League final.

Bayern, playing in the final for the third time in four years, is trying to win the title for the fifth time and make up for the heartbreak of last season's penalty-shootout loss to Chelsea.

Spurred by the trauma of that defeat, Bayern has been fantastic this season, running away with the Bundesliga title while setting records and dispatching Juventus and Barcelona by a combined score of 11-0 over four matches.

Dortmund is bidding to repeat its 1997 triumph from its only previous final. Then, as now, the team surrendered back-to-back Bundesliga titles to Bayern and lost its last league game 2-1 at home.
