France has injury concerns to Koscielny, Varane
PARIS (AP) - France has injury concerns in defense ahead of Friday's friendly against Australia with center backs Raphael Varane and Laurent Koscielny both sitting out training on Wednesday.
Varane has hurt his right knee and Koscielny has pain in his right calf, the French Football Federation said on its website. France has another training session on Thursday evening.
The uncapped Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma took part in Wednesday's training after being called up as cover in defense.
France, which is in second place behind Spain in Group I, plays its final World Cup qualifier against Finland on Tuesday.
