United tops Stoke; 3 goals for Liverpool's Suarez
LONDON (AP) - Manchester United rallied past Stoke 3-2 Saturday in the English Premier League title on second-half headers by Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez.
Rooney struck in the 78th minute at Old Trafford and Hernandez nodded in the winner two minutes later for United, which is eight points behind first-place Arsenal.
Arsenal won 2-0 at Crystal Palace, with Mikel Arteta scoring on a penalty kick before being sent off. Olivier Giroud headed in the second goal.
On the day the Football Association celebrated its 150th anniversary, Liverpool produced the most convincing victory. Luis Suarez had a hat trick in a 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion that lifted the team to second place, two points behind Arsenal.
Everton provisionally climbed to third place with a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.
