NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Football fans who think they're coming to New York City for the Feb. 2 Super Bowl are in for a surprise.
The game is being played in New Jersey.
Some angry New Jersey politicians say you'd never know it, judging by the promotional materials from the NFL.
Anger over the lack of New Jersey mentions in promoting the game reached a fever pitch this week, when the NFL unveiled its design for the official game program and tickets.
It features a shot of the New York City skyline - with New Jersey a small speck in the distance.
New Jersey Sens. Robert Menendez and Cory Booker joined other politicians in denouncing the design.
The NFL says it's promoting both New York and New Jersey in all its materials.
