Gracer romps in Big A's Dearly Precious Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) - Gracer powered to a 101/4-length victory on Saturday in the $98,000 Dearly Precious Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.

Alex Citron sent Gracer immediately to the front and she never had an anxious moment in the six-furlong race. Ahead by more than six lengths at the top of the stretch, the 1-5 favorite cruised to a third straight win, lifting her record to 4 for 6 for trainer Tony Dutrow.

The time was 1:10.36 on the track rated good.

Gracer paid $2.40, $2.10 and $2.10. Sustainable returned $3.70 and $2.70 as the distant runner-up. Go West Marie paid $3.10 to show.
