National Lacrosse League Debuts Friday on CNN/Sports Illustrated

CNN/Sports Illustrated (CNN/SI) will debut its coverage of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) this Friday, Nov. 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET, as New Jersey travels to Albany. CNN/SI will air 23 NLL games throughout the season, including 18 “Game of the Week” broadcasts, five playoff games and the NLL Championship Game in April of 2002. The NLL joins NASCAR, Wimbledon and the WUSA in CNN/SI’s sports-event programming lineup, with additional events to be announced soon. CNN/SI is the national broadcast partner for the NLL’s 2001-2003 seasons.
