Watson hoping his short-putt problems over

Tom Watson hopes he has finally found the remedy for his well-documented putting maladies. He switched putters last week and will use a Zebra today in the first round of the Masters Tournament. This one has a special feel, one that could help Watson solve his problems on the greens and win his first PGA Tour event since 1987.

Sports Illustrated Daily Diary: Vijay Singh looks confused. It's 8:15 Wednesday morning and this is the last chance for the 93 players at the '96 Masters to practice their game. The only problem is, the course is closed. The temperature at 6 a.m. was only 31 degrees, says Sports Illustrated golf writer Amy Nutt, in her daily online diary.
