The 1995 Tournament: Arnold Palmer Day
The Augusta National recognized Tuesday, April 4, 1995 as "Arnold Palmer Day" honoring the four-time champion with a plaque on a fountain behind the 16th tee. This is the first time since April 2, 1958 that a player has been honored. The bridge leading to the 12th green was named for Ben Hogan and the bridge in front of the 13th tee was named for Byron Nelson that year.
