The British Open

It was widely known that Bobby Jones owned a legendary temper, and that he frequently tossed clubs and cursed at disobedient shots. In fact, Jones grew so frustrated with his play in his first British Open in 1921 at St. Andrews, he tore up his scorecard in mid-tournament and stormed off the course. Of course, Jones would come to love and admire the Old Course at St. Andrews -- and win three of the four British Opens he entered.
