Billy Casper beat Gene Littler in a Monday playoff, but the real drama came on Sunday. Casper, Littler and Gary Player were tied for the lead and Bert Yancey was one shot back with two holes to go. Casper and Littler managed to par 17 and 18, but Player and Yancey both bogeyed 18, eliminating them from contention.
