April 12, 1987: Attends first Masters when fellow Augustan Larry Mize chipped in to defeat Greg Norman on second playoff hole

June 1987: First plays golf in neighbor's back yard

July 1987: Starts lessons at Wrightsboro Road Driving Range

July 14, 1988: Wins first tournament in Augusta Area Junior Golf Association event at Belle Meade
