Hole 14
Par 4, 405 Yards
A fairly straight hole with trouble on the putting surface. A large hump runs across the front of the green which is definitely three-putt country.

How Vijay Singh plays this hole
1. It's an awkward driving hole. And the fairway slopes from left to right. You need to draw the ball into the slope. I always use a 3-wood there.
2. I think (the key) is the ability to hit your short to medium iron as precise as possible to the correct side of the hole. There are pin placements where if you hit it to the right side, you don't have to hit a great shot to get it close. If the pin is all the way on the top left, you have to hit a very precise shot to get it to stay there.
3. You can't actually hit the green without a problem there. There are three different plateaus. I for one have three-putted umpteen times before.
Historical Note
Just before play was suspended because of darkness in the third round of the 2000 Masters, Singh birdied the 14th hole. It gave him some momentum, which would carry over the following day, when he won the tournament by 3 strokes.
