SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Anaheim's Troy Glaus hit his seventh home run of the postseason Wednesday night, tying the record set by Barry Bonds a night earlier.

With one out in the third inning of Game 4 of the World Series, Glaus hit a drive to center off San Francisco's Kirk Rueter. Kenny Lofton went back to the wall and leaped but couldn't make the catch.

The two-run homer was Glaus' first with a runner on base this postseason. He hit three in the first round against the New York Yankees, one in the ALCS against Minnesota and two in Game 1 of the Series against the Giants.

Before this year, the record for homers in a postseason was six, shared by Bob Robertson (1971), Len Dykstra (1993), Ken Griffey Jr. (1995), Bernie Williams (1996) and Jim Thome (Cleveland).

Glaus' shot was the Angels' 22nd postseason homer, tying the Giants for the most in a single year.
