BINGHAMTON, New York (Ticker) -- Scott Hunter went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Earl Snyder knocked in a pair of runs as the Binghamton Mets held on to beat the Norwich Navigators, 6-5.

Hunter drove in the first two runs of the game with a two-run single in the bottom of the first inning and highlighted a four-run fifth with an RBI double as Binghamton led 6-1 after five full innings.

Snyder produced a two-run double -- also in the fifth -- and was one of four Mets with two hits.

Julio Moreno (2-0) picked up his second win in as many appearances despite allowing a run and two hits in two innings of relief work.

Mark Corey recorded the last two outs of the game for his first save of the season as Binghamton improved to 3-1.

Andy Phillips paced Norwich with three hits, including a three-run homer in the ninth which cut the Mets' lead down to one run, but the Navigators could not push the tying run across the plate.

Juan Rivera and Andy Morales added solo shots and Alex Graman (1-1) took the loss after giving up six runs -- two earned -- and 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings.
