INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Dan Serafini threw seven strong innings of one-hit ball and Bucky Jacobsen homered and drove in three runs as the Indianapolis Indians defeated the Columbus Clippers, 5-0. Serafini (7-3), who gave up eight runs and and 10 hits over two innings in his last start on August 24, had a no-hitter into the seventh when Carlos Garcia snapped it with a one-out single. Overall, he finished with seven strikeouts and did not issue a walk for the win. Jacobsen knocked home a run on a groundout in the first inning and connected on a two-run homer in the third. Micah Franklin added a home run and two RBI for Indianapolis. Garcia finished with a pair of hits and Darren Bragg doubled for Columbus, which has lost three straight. Adrian Hernandez (7-7) surrendered four runs and eight hits, striking out six and walking three, in six innings for the loss.
